I Heart Gs

Here comes the G's as my Christmas prezzies ...
Guess and Gucci!

Well yeah there's only two, not a lot but they're certainly tha bomb!! I know, I sound like any other materialistic bitch here, but seriously.. who the fug cares when it comes to Gucci?! No fugging one. All I wana say is, thank you very much, with all my heart. You know who you are. I am really lucky and I feel grateful. Thank you.

Photobucket

The first - Guess. The box with the gift in the bag... Not gona show ya =p
Can be very affordable these days, once in a while.

Photobucket

And this is not very affordable, not even once in a while. But thank you
for making it my very first Gucci stuff.

Photobucket

The Tattoo Heart collections for the Gucci ad campaign. And d'ya know who they
chose to be the ambassador? It's OMFG-Wanabe Rihanna. Uberly fugily wrong choice.
Sorry RiRi fans, I am really not her fan. In fact, I kind of hate her. Eugh

And, this is the G that I've been waiting for.......

Photobucket

Tada! MY FIRST EVER Gucci TOTE BAG! Whoopee~

How can I not Heart this? She is the GG - The Gucci Goddess. But she caused some controversy here. Some say its fugly (eg: my sis the bad taste shopaholixbar owner & Sepet the fat) n not worth the money. Its more than RM5K!! after discount some more (omg, did I just spend that much on a Gucci bag? Heck I did and I feel so guilty I think ima start workin real hard to repay youknowwho, although it's a gift but I cannot accept the fact that I'm getting it for free). And, some people do think that this bag is nothing but FABULAWESOME! (eg: myself and whoever who agrees lol. Anyone?). Well, if you don't agree too bad, that's why it's for mee mee mee. But if you do agree, high 5! I'm glad that you do! muahaha.

Actually, I really liked the authentic Gucci trademark, the green white red stripes, not the brown GG sign all over the bag like some classic wallpaper. But, all the bags on display (the classic Gucci design) weren't much of a honey to me, until I saw Her. I like black and simplicity and elegance. To some, it's called boredom. That was love at first sight =) Without a doubt, I picked her up from the shelves, and then she became mine.... muahhaa. [end of love story]

Photobucket

I'm gona have to use it like a grocery bag to make that 5Gs worthwhile.
heart heart heart
If only I had another G for xmas, I wish it be a hot hunk Greg. wohoo. In my dreams.

Xmas Eve, Of Simplicity

I had a very simple celebration for Christmas this year. Very simple, no partying. In fact, I've not partied for 2 weeks now, ain't I sucha good girl =) I was invited to the Christmas boys' parties but, I hate to say this, I had to pass. I wouldn't go through Christmas without him and go out party myself while he's at work. Plus, I promised to make him a memorable xmas dinner. I had to make EVERYTHING before he finishes work at 11pm, like groceries shopping, cooking, baking, setting up the table, etc etc. It took me a lot of time and effort, but as always, every penny paid off.

Photobucket

Some simple and easy to get ingredients to make lovely Pretzels.

Photobucket

The hard Pretzel cookie. No yeast or baking flour. Easy peasy =)
I got the recipe from a book. It is just Okay. You can alter the recipe to your liking.
Maybe with choco/vanilla dipping =) And I prefer a bread pastry instead of a cookie.
But u know what my grandma said. She said it looked like my lil dog Rocky's poo.

Photobucket

The necessary spices for the main course. Spices are not cheap these days.

Photobucket

After a long day of preparation, this is what we had for our Christmas dinner.
Smoked salmon & side dishes, the cookie pretzels, red wine, and strawberry smoothies,
the lamps and candles for deco, the music, and the view... ahh. So romantic wanabe, lol
But the KL view isn't very clear in this picture. My camera sucks. But the dinner.. lovely.

Photobucket Photobucket

The strawberry smoothie is my favourit-est among all! Easy to make and yet so thirst quenching and fresh. I blended in a box of strawberries with yoghurt and whipped cream. And sugar of course. So much better than what restaurants offer, I am not kidding! Just made another one today for my sis and Jeng. Ask them! =p As for the red wine, it's quite light, just 8% of alcohol and extra sweet. It's a cheap wine but not a bad one, just RM40. To sum it up, the dinner was obviously sweet and memorable. And, I've got two absolutely AMAZING.GORGEOUS.BESTEST gift ever for this Christmas!!! will post some pics soon.

---x---

Before dinner, yumcha
at Solaris before I shop for groceries at Cold Storage :)
with me buddies, Sepet & G-Boy

Photobucket

Boston, another Hongkie style concept restaurant. A rather funny concept.
Opened by Andy Lau (according to Sepet, dont know if I can rely on his info or not)

Photobucket

Hongllywood. HAHAHA.... L-A-M-E!

Photobucket

In an economy crisis like now, this is what we should eat, says Boston.

Photobucket

If you are a biatch, please order the biatchy food. I see some names here, like
Paris without 'Hilton'. But we all know it's her. lol. Should put her name under
Financial Meals cus they're cheaper than everything else =)

Photobucket

The whatever-biatch face who ordered nothing =)

Photobucket

Photobucket Photobucket

I enjoyed yumcha-ing there, warm but breezy. So chillax. If only the restaurant had a sea view.

Our 29th Monthsary @ Celadon

Last Monday was our 29th Monthsary, that's 2 years and 5 months now. How quickly time flies huh.. We have this "tradition" or habit of celebrating our monthsary every 22nd, something necessary to spice up this 2year-long-old-boring-relationship. We kept the celebration simple by catchin a movie which we both agreed to (something rare) and having a real spicy dinner at Celadon, an authentic Thai cuisine at Pavilion (we ran out of ideas since we've been doing this for the 29th time).

Photobucket

The deco at Celadon was simple, all white and beige. and good service =)
We had a hard time on what we want to order. There was a lot which we wanted to eat.
We're sorta like Thai food fanatics. Never fail to love em.

Photobucket

Evian bottles are so expensive! Over 100 bucks. I wont spend that much on that.

Photobucket

Celadon's logo with an elephant as usual. So Thailand.
Sawadee-Krup! I always thought it was Sawadikaaaap. haha

Photobucket

Here's the list of menu. I wouldn't say they're cheap or expensive.
There's always a certain amount to pay for for fine dining in Pavilion.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

These were what we ordered. yumz right! Limited to 3 dishes. How sad, we wanted more
but we couldn't have finished it. We ordered the famous Tom yum Kung/Goong soup.
It was SHIT NICE! haha. Looks like plain soup but its super rich in taste, sour and
spicy enough that you can't take more than 5 sips at one time. My favourite among all.
Is your mouth watering now? I bet!

Photobucket

An accompaniment for green curry - crispy dried salted fish.

Photobucket

I sooo loved this. Very rich in taste, creamy texture, yet not too spicy.
Try eating the whole bowl, smoke will start coming out from your ears.

Photobucket

Tofu with Thai sweet & sour sauce/chilli. It tastes like any other, very common.
But it tastes good. Should have tried some other real authentic Thai stuffs though.

Photobucket

This meal was a real satisfaction.
Just look at how Wayne is struggling to gobble down everything.
So. Wayne asked if I would I come to Celadon again, and I said, Oh yeaa baby..!

Btw, Merry Christmas everyone! May this christmas be a blessing to you all.
Everyone had parties to go to on xmas eve. As for me, I went no where but stayed home, sounds sad right? Not really. Knowing that there will be before & after mass traffic jams and road blocks everywhere, I didn't want to get out of the house. All I did was to prepare a real lovely dinner for Wayne and myself at home on top at the rooftop balcony, overlooking the vast city lit in dim yellow lights and the twinkling Twin Towers and KL Tower. The prep was one heck of a mess and took so much time, effort, and cash. But, it was all well worth it =)

P/S: Happy Birthday to my lovely christmas boys, U Jun & Zi Jie!
and a belated birthday to Jon Jack!
Sorry I couldn't come to your parties, I've promised to have this dinner
with Wayne months ago. Will make it up to you guys, I promise! =)

Tenji's Launch Night

After a whole lot of partying for 2 weeks, I finally got a job, at least for a day =) Doing this makes me feel less useless + guilty. As mentioned in the previous post, I took up a job together with sis, jeng, and wayne to work for Tenji's launch night on Friday - a new Japanese buffet restaurant at Solaris, Mont Kiara.

I've tried out the food once, it was about the same as Jogoya's. Price isn't very different, prolly 10bucks cheaper than Jogoya. Maybe you could givit a try and comment? They're very new though. I notice that the management has more cons than pros after workin with them although it's only for a day. Will go into that later. But I would say that the experience was a good one.

Photobucket

Big big banners hanging down from the building.

We arrived early and were sippin on latte in Coffeebean before we start torturing
ourselves with an endless night of work.
Photobucket

U always see my sis's camho photos all the time. This is how she always does it.
And jeng is wearing a coat. Damn macho! like bouncer aje

Photobucket

That's us in our working outfits. Don't really look 20 anymore do we.

Photobucket

Up the escalator at Tenji's front entrance. All the flowers everywhere. Can tell they're so launching

Photobucket

We started setting the place by decorating with the balloons. It was one heck of a mess I tell you, it's all due to bad management. we're not to be blamed *cough* We spent so much time arranging n stickin the balloons into an arc along one long pole, only to realize that we couldn't hang it up at the entrance cus of the structure. Had to remove evrything and pop out most of the balloons. What a waste of time. Not that I don't enjoy playin with balloons but askin us to do evrythin and to destroy our work of art later isn't a good scene!

Photobucket

Tenji invited the whole bunch of Miss Tourism 08 over for the launch. What a rare sight.
Guess they must've spent alot on this. It's a shock to see these people coming into Solaris.

Photobucket

The beauties from all over the world. There was almost 50 beauties in total.
They're all so gorgeous. Seeing them in real person is really different. They Are Stunning.

Photobucket

The countless flash from reporters and media's big big cameras. Sorry for the bad photos.
Captured it from a 2m.p. phone, didn't have my cam cus I'm working remember! Wasted.

Photobucket

The sistaz and the mates :)

Photobucket

This is really one bad photo, I apologize. The phone camera sucks!
That's Miss Vietnam on left, and the other I don't know, but she's Asian.
Don't mistaken for the one in the middle. She's not cut for it, shes just a small bunny! :)

Photobucket

And Miss Thailand! She's sooooo gorgeous. I look like a freakin ugly midget beside her.
She's so tall. They're ALL so tall like female giants, 6ft at least! I didn't have the chance to
grab them all beauties for a photo, cus I'm working remember. Sigh. These few photos
were taken secretly, and Wayne helped me in it. lol.

[complaints starts right here] From the beginning I was told to be a P.R for the event throughout the night, serving VIPs and all. And guess what I ended up doing? What a waiter does, cleaning tables and dishes. It's not what I was told in the beginning. Got cheated! And, guess what we had for our "staff dinner". I've never tried being in such situation before in my life. We were busy putting up the failed balloons while everyone else was having a nice dinner, nobody told us about the dinner and we had our dinner late, so starving. We went to the wet kitchen where all the Myanmar workers cook and wash the plates. We ate the LEFTOVERS - cheap rice, eggs, curry gravy (no meat), and wet anchovies with dirty oily plates and chopsticks! LEFTOVERS!! We ate in the kitchen, sitting on those dirty styrofoam (however u spell it) boxes on wet floors, in our formal working outfits! Awful sight isn't it? Look so miserable that I went outdoor n ate while I stood (we weren't allowed to sit in the dining area). Yeah, imagine yourself in this situation. It totally pulled me down. Think about it again, is this a P.R job or what. I was so pissed. We all were. But there was nothing we could do. In events, they'll ask you to do anything whenever they're short of people. [end of complaints] So, are these a result of bad management?

The Lesson Learnt - I learnt a lot from this event, that you have to do whatever it takes when you're asked to, cus they're the ones who give out the pay checks. And, never complain even if you have to eat leftovers in the wet kitchen cos it will only fall on deaf ears. Complains from us teeny weeny part timers will never be heard. However, I enjoyed watching the beauty parade, somethin to cheer myself up =)

Sepet's Big Two-O

Happy 20th Birthday B.F.F Brotha!
Have a wonderful bday! Here's a snapshot of the card I made for him.

Photobucket

Pretty cool huh! The painting, printing, writing, etc. hahaa. Been workin on this piece for the entire night! Btw, I pixelated the messages, hehe. P&C yo. I'm kinda satisfied with the card although not 100%, but then again self praise is no praise. Nevermind, guys are less demanding compared to girls. Appreciate my effort okay. Well, u'r no longer in your teens, how's that feel? My teenage's been long gone. Now's your turn! =p All your wishes are in the card, no need for me to repeat here. We all gon have a nice dinner tonite at Souled Out, again. urgh, getting sick of Souled Out! But its ok since its a Wesleyans get together-gether! Hopefully gettin some pics tonite. Cheerios. xx

There's more kawaii poses of me and vic.. Just scroll your way down...

Photobucket

We love pretending to be the Japs. But in Malaysia, we're known as Lalas.

Photobucket

Another style of kawaii-ing, that is to look away from the camera... lol!
I think from this picture, I have the eyes that fit the kawaii criteria - Big & Round. loll

Photobucket Photobucket

Finally, the Jap wanabe who's full of herself... I do look abit like Jap here with my light
brown hair dye. Doncha think? Would look more like one if I dye it blonde, which makes it look fake.

Photobucket

We have another alien female face here who wasn't in the previous pic, Jessy,
one with the colorful aunty top, lol. Went for her bday party last week, Happy Belated Jess!

Photobucket

Cy's widest smile for the night! Betcha happy dude! You deserve it, for being

not so dressed up. Correct? Flops and board shorts.. So slumber!
